Rethink the Internet · Open Source

A social network no one can switch off.

Lapis Net is not another app on the old internet — it is a redesign of the internet itself: a peer-to-peer network anchored in Bitcoin, with no operator, no server, and no off switch. Every participant carries the network and decides for themselves whom to trust.

Built as infrastructure, not as a platform

Fully decentralized

No company, no data center, no kill switch — the network exists wherever its participants run it, and central control is structurally impossible.

Anchored in Bitcoin

A proven, decentralized currency serves as the network's value layer — for identity, micropayments, and manipulation-resistant visibility.

Storage without an address

Content lives in an IPFS-style storage layer, everywhere and nowhere at once — it cannot be lost, seized, or deleted by anyone.

Open access

No gatekeeper decides who may join; anyone can run a node and read the entire network — while every user builds their own trust filters.

Four dimensions instead of a moderator

Lapis Net replaces central content moderation with a four-dimensional, market-based scoring system. Nobody decrees what is true or visible; instead, trust, visibility, appreciation, and node reliability are measured separately — by the participants themselves.

The dimensions are deliberately independent. Trust is built person by person, visibility is backed by real Bitcoin, appreciation crosses the borders of trust networks, and machines rate machines. The result is a network that regulates itself without ruling anyone.

“Freedom means responsibility for your own actions — and only for your own.”

The network is the user.

Lapis Net has no customers and no accounts to suspend — only participants who own their keys, their words, and their trust. If that is the kind of network you want to exist, the best way to support it is to be part of it.
